These are two fantastic books that inspire outside play and activities. Given that we are dealing with more mud then snow I thought it was a good time to pull these out of my stash. I haven't decided to whether to give these away as one or two gifts. So we shall see at the end of the month!
Oh! that would be fun to know more about, I'm not very outside person and I'm trying to do more activities with the kids outside but don't have to many ideas of what to do. With the picture of the book "i love dirt!" I just remember the picture that you posted, not to while ago, from your little girl looking for pine cones.
ReplyDeleteLove this topic. I believe every child is just a little more centred and happy when they have adequate outside time. For six months of the year May through to the end of October, our weekly playgroup The Little Gnomes meets outside - these books sound like a great resource for group activities and to share ideas for parents to apply in their own family life.
